Sandpoint, Idaho

April 18^th (Saturday):

     Last night we slept at a 24 hour Walmart parking lot just before Spokane, Washington. Today we finished up driving through Washington, part of Idaho and arrived into Montana. One highlight of our day was stopping at Sandpoint, Idaho. We picked up food and brought it to Sandpoint Beach. It’s a wonderful park right on the water. And everyone was really making use of it. There were people playing kickball, volleyball, basketball, and riding around the park with their bicycles. We put a blanket down on the grass nearby other picnics and enjoyed eating our lunch while watching everyone enjoy the sunny day outside. It’s been 60’s-70’s for temperature- a lot warmer than we were expecting on this Northern route.
