Happy April Everyone! It's been several months since I have blogged. I thought today was an appropriate day to write since Scott and I are heading on a cross country road trip up the coast of California towards Seattle area then taking Route 2 back to Maine. We will take about 3-4 weeks on the road.
We have some beautiful areas we will be visiting and exploring. The places I am most looking forward to seeing are the following...the Coast of California (along HWY 1), and visiting the Redwood Forest National and State Park. We are going to explore the coast of Seattle Washington and maybe journey up to Vancouver. We are planning to check out the Great Lakes area for a few days and then explore northern Vermont.
Along the way we will use our Annual National Park Pass to get into any of the National Parks we choose to see such as Glacier and Rainier. This means we don't have to pay the admission fee to get into each park because we paid a discounted annual fee.
We will be living out of the RV- staying at camp grounds once in awhile, and maybe even a cheap motel/hotel (thanks dad for your reward points ahead of time!). We are looking forward to another fun road trip and Vantastic is ready to go! We just got an oil change for her and she's quite happy :)
Today we are leaving for San Francisco which will take about 3 hours or so. We plan on spending a couple of days around that area. Then leave for the Pacific Coast by Monday.
