VANTASTIC TIME!

November 11th, 2014

       I am officially all packed up and ready for our 2014 road trip which will start from Acton, Maine and eventually bring us to Olympic Valley, California over a two week period. We are at Scott's parent's house tonight awaiting our ride to be ready to drive (hopefully tomorrow). Scott purchased a 1986 extended van which he named "Vantastic". A new propane heater will be placed in it tomorrow or the next day and then we will head out. Scott got a job as a full-time ski instructor at Alpine Meadows Ski Resort and I will be working as a Registered Nurse for Holland America Cruise Ship Line. I am still waiting to find out where I will go and when.
      We feel blessed to be able to take this time and go exploring again. I plan on updating this blog every week or so with pictures of our road trip and some videos of the RV, landscapes, etc. Thank you to all of our friends and family who have supported our adventurous spirit. We will miss you all. Below is a link to the first YouTube video that Scott made of the ride we will be taking on the trip. We will post another video soon which will show upgrades we've made to it!
